2012 Colorado Refresher Course
The Central Colorado Professional Surveyors, Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado, and Metropolitan State College of Denver are offering a comprehensive Land Surveying Refresher Course for 2012. This course offers a review and self-study plan for those taking the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) and Principles and Practice of Surveying (PS) examinations. The course is designed to aid candidates in developing and expanding exam-taking proficiencies.
This course is also a valuable refresher for anyone!

Four Corners National Monument
Thanks in part to a generous donation of $2,500 from the WFPS, a new set of stone monuments were included in a $1 million redesign of the Four Corners National Monument plaza, which was dedicated on September 17, 2010.
Award winners!
NSPS (National Society of Professional Surveyors) has recently announced the winners of the NSPS "Excellence in Journalism" contest. The PLSC was acknowledged with two awards. Side Shots was honored with a shared Second Place for Professional Magazine. The PLSC web site was acknowledged as the Best Website. A link to the full awards will be posted when it is available.
