Eric Laburda, LSI

Eric is a native of Colorado; born in Denver and raised in the Gunnison River Basin. As a youth he was draw towards the trades and even doing basic building layout at 14. Returning to Denver, Eric wanted to pursue a career combining construction and being outdoors. Attending Westwood College of Technology, he graduated with an Associate Degree in the Applied Science of Surveying and is looking forward to becoming a PLS in 2024. The survey disciplines have ranged from design topographic exhibits, easements, mining surveys, to laser scanning for pre-pour checklists, floor flatness, drone photogrammetry and lidar scanning. Having taken full advantage of the PLSC’s McComber Mentoring, the Refresher Course, and the Spring Summit, Eric looks forward to giving back to the survey community as a director with the CCPS.
