Past Presidents

Mission Statement

The CCPS was founded and incorporated as the fourth chapter of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado, Inc. and elected the first officers to serve in 1989.

Central to the founding vision was "The purpose of this organization shall be to improve the profession of surveying in Colorado."

The original goals were stated to be:

• Get surveyors talking to one another
• Share survey and other information
• Discover that the problems in the profession are universal
• Seek solutions to the problems with input from all
• Educate those wishing to join the profession
• Continue to educate those in the profession
• Work with PLSC to disseminate information

The CCPS leadership has devised numerous strategies to achieve these goals and continually evolves and improves over time. We invite input from our members on all matters affecting the profession of Land Surveying in Colorado. We also welcome the participation of members, nonmembers, and guests at both our general and board meetings.
